clearing engine codes?

I know how to read the codes, but how do i clear them? its on OBD0 b16A in a 91 crx si
or should it go away it i fix the problem?
I just wanna make sure i'm not chasing my tail here cuz there a old codes still on the ecu

pull the ecu fuse for a few minutes then put it back in

you can pull the negative cable off your battery and start your car then wait 5 minutes, and by start the car i mean turn your ignition over it will drain the flea power on the ecu and clear it out. plug the battery in after about 5 minutes and try again.

I just wanted to make things complicated when I did it myself and when I told him what to do


p.s. Ill be pulling the ecu fuse next time instead of the batt cable
