Clicking sound when turning - Not CV shaft

Hey,

I just changed my clutch and transmission in my 93 Civic SI. When I turn left I can hear a clicking sound only when pressing down on the gas, if I have the clutch pressed in there is no click. I put a brand new CV shaft in and the clicking sound was still there. The inner tie rod end boot tore, so I'm replacing that tomorrow, but I don't think that would produce the same clicking sound.

Any help or ideas are appreciated.

Thanks,
Phil

wheel bearing? jack up the car and do the 9 and 3 wheel shake to see if there's lateral movement.

I forgot to suggest that, but yes, check your wheel bearing.

Only way to check anything in the differential is to open it up and visually inspect. Could even be your input shaft bearing!
