the clutch cable is two or three inches short? any remedies or replacment cables that work?
I just took the flange off my old d series tranny and re welded it on the Y1. works great for me
just get a new cable. its only $66.96 from acura.
Trim the black housing on the one I have, I don't understand, explain?
One for and 90-93 Integra will work?
Pull the black housing back, and trim the metal spiral things about 2 inches, and more and once your clutch wears a little bit you will need to get a new one, i cut too much, bought one off of a crx, and used an engine hoise to pull up the lever on the trans, barely slipped in, now i have lots of play if need be.
And YES one will work off of a 90-93 integra. But thats more money to spend.
no that exspensive to do it right...
idk my stock crx cable works just fine,
but if you get a new cluth cable make sure you get it from acura, cause the ones from checkers, autozone, pepboys, etc. are not lubed and the cable wears out and snaps, the oem ones from honda and acura are lubed and last a hell of a lot longer than the ones from a autoparts store
haha there lubed
