Clutch/ flywheel help?

Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has had problems with putting a pressure plate on before? I've got the flywheel + clutch off of the motor, and the pressure plate cover won't sit down on the flywheel studs. There's like a 1/4" of space. If I take the clutch out, it sits fine. If I install it like this and draw it on with the bolts, will the clutch be able to disengage from the flywheel? It's a fidanza flywheel, and a SECO "oem" replacement for a 91 b16.
