I'm pretty sure this is not the stock motor for my vehicle. I was told buy
the Used Car Salesman (who wouldn't lie to me I'm sure...yeah right)
that this was a performance mod done by the prvious owner. Well,
I found out that thats definitely not the case.
Basically I know the specs on the motor/Tranny. HP, Torque...etc.
What I don't know is what car it came out of. Its most likely a
89-91 CRX or Integra. The differenes between the two are slight,
but they are there. The dissimilarity thats got me stumped right
now is the clutch disc size. this particulr Eng/Trans combo came
with two different size discs...200mm and 212mm. I'm hoping
someone here can point me at a tag or ID mark on the tranny
that will tell me which one I have. Save me from taking it apart
and measuring it before i buy the clutch. As far as the swap goes,
its in the cards. I want to drop a JDM B16A boosted into the car.
But right now, scratch says get the clutch....save up for the swap.
Anyway, on to my problem...

My clutch pedal throw to engage clutch has increased to the point where
my foot is almost all the way out before the clutch disc engages. I have
been told that this clutch is auto adjusting and that the disc is worn
beyond allowable limits. The only resolution is to replace the clutch.
For my current motor/tranny what clutch kit do I need? Do I need a clutch
kit or can I just replace the clutch disc? I was doing research and found
this E-Bay Clutch Kit Item number: 8016822664. Will this one work?

Thanks ahead for the help......

I think the s20 tranny is a SOHC VTEC (si/ex) tranny from a 92-95 civic.
The motor is most likely from a CRX Si or an 88-91 civic Ex.
I'd get the d16a6 clutch disc (88-91 Civic Ex or CRX Si)/kit... but i'm not sure that the spline count for the tranny would be the same as the spline count on the disc.
[it's best to take the disc with you when you go to buy the new one]
I didn't check the link you posted, but, yes you CAN just replace the DISC.. it's not very recommended, because usually your pressure plate, and almost always your TO [throw-out] bearing will be pretty fucked up by the time the disc is gone.
If you ARE going to swap it, and don't care, just get the disc, it is like $20 from autozone... and will most likely hold you over while you save up.

[ps: the motor is not from an integra unless it's Dual OverHead Cam]

all D-series clutches from 90 up are the same size (212mm) - unless it has the 88-89 CRX/Civic flywheel (which used the smaller clutch) on it, you would need a clutch for the 93 D16Z6
