I was screwing with my 88 CRX and wanted to adjust the clutch cable so that i didn't have to let the pedal out all the way untill i felt some friction when driving. My hanes manual says that there should be .75-1 inch of "arm freeplay." Does this mean the amount of cable slack that moves before there is tension pulling on the actual clutch arm? Please help! THANKS

no. the pedal freeplay is what they are talking about. you should depress your pedal by hand and it should go down .75 to 1.0 inch. there is anopther measurement at the actual arm but its like .003mm or something...whatever it is, dont worry aobut it. just worry about the pedal freeplay and you'lll be fine.
