I bought a d16y8 for my 98 civic ex and it was out of a crx with a 4 speed manual trans (race car). the number on it is L3. I was wondering if the cluch will work on my 5 Speed. The 4 speed is a cable trans and mine is a hydroulic clutch. The reason my im asking is because the clutch on the motor d16y8 motor is new and the 5 speed probly has 50k on it. should i be able to leave it mounted to the motor and install my trans with no problem they look very similar.
