CLUTCH STUCK

i recently installed an exedy clutch and lightened flywheel

i used to be able to pull up on the fork where the cable attaches about 4.5"

now with new stuff installed when i pull on the fork i hear the release bearing hit the press plate and then it wont budge

is this normal due to the stiffer press plate or did i do something wrong?

sounds like you did something wrong,,,,,,try to tighten the adjustment screw on the calbe itself.

you could of put the spring on wrong for the release bearing. Mine actually broke off inside once! that sucked. .

to be honest it simply doesn't seemed properly aligned.

the motor and trans are out od the car

should i just take it apart and try it again?

YUP and get a helm or a service manual for your car that really help alot.
