Hi I have and Ls/Vtec that I drag, autocross, and occasionally lap. Its not a street car. I am replacing the trans at the moment and should upgrade my OEM clutch, it has at least 100 passes on it with slicks. My car only makes 205/151 so I know I don't need stage kazillion. Would a Stage 1 Exedy be enough or should I go to something beefier?
    Thx for any advice.

I'd probably go with a stage 2 just because... its still very 'streetable' even if you don't drive it there. More importantly, a lighter flywheel combo will offer better feel and quicker revs as well.

at the end of the day, the best clutch for your drag events is not the same as the best clutch for your autox or hot lap days.

Thanks I appreciate the reply. I will take that advice, I already use a lightweight flywheel so that combo should work out.

I'm with B. Even the "stage 3" ACT clutch I had in my LS turbo civic was driveable on the street.
