Code 12

A friend just finished his B16 swap into a EG (94) Civic. He used the SiRII motor which I believe has the P30 ECU.. Started and ran great but he has a code 12 on the check engine light, which my book says is for the EGR.....neither this motor nor the stock motor HAS a EGR ...Sooooo, what gives??

the USDM b16a3 does. perhaps he got a US computer with his JDM motor.

If your friend needs a program with EGR disabled, tell him to email me and I can either email him a bin to burn to a chip or send him a pre-burned chip.
