first, my car.. '89 civic hatch. SOHC ZC (d16a6) 5 spd.

ok, im throwing code 63 and the car seems to be misfiring. code 63 is (i looked it up): o2 sensor heated

i recently put an exhaust on my car.. a cheap E-bay 4-2-1 header and a Monza Pacesetter cat-back system.
the Monza kit has a lot of backpressure, could this extra backpressure cause an increase in exhaust temp's to cause my 2 month old o2 sensor to get 'heated'?
is there any way around this problem? (i.e.: a high-temp o2 sensor) i dont want to have to get rid of the exhaust, especially after the money I put into the kit.

thanks in advance

ok.. i might have been wrong about it being code 63... this is what code 63 says.. :

63- Accord Civic CRV CRX Del Sol Odyssey Prelude
96-98 96-98 97-98 n/a 96-97 96-98 96-98
Oxygen Sensor, Heated - Sensor 2 (Secondary)
high voltage, low voltage, or slow response

my car (and ECU) is an '89 civic.. and i only have a 1-wire O2 sensor which would mean its a non-heated O2 sensor.

I was thinking the code meant the O2 sensor was heated, as in overheated or burnt.

the light on the ECu flashes 6 times, then takes a VERY short break then flashes 3 times. that means 63 i believe.
if not, then it means code 6 and code 3. or code 9

code 6:
6- Accord Civic CRV CRX Del Sol Odyssey Prelude
85-98 86-98 97-98 85-91 93-97 95-98 85-98
ECT Sensor (Engine Coolant Temperature)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor

code 3:
3- Accord Civic CRV CRX Del Sol Odyssey Prelude
85-98 86-98 97-98 85-91 93-97 95-98 85-98
MAP Sensor (Manifold Absolute Pressure)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective senso

code 9:
9*- Accord Civic CRV CRX Del Sol Odyssey Prelude
85-98** 86-98 97-98 85-91 93-97 95-98 85-98
CYP Sensor (Cylinder)
defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor
* not a valid code for any throttle body injection Hondas
** not a valid code for V-6 engines

GRR! idk.
im sure its not code 6, the temp guage is reading out fine.
that would also rule out code three, because code 6 & 3 would have to go together in order for the ECU code to make sense.
Code 9 is saying its not a valid code for any TBI hondas.. my civic is FI, which means it uses a TB, wouldnt that make it throttle body injected?
