Code 9 error on PR3 ECU

Have a 90 Civic Si Hatch with the B16A engine swap.... It seems like it should have more power, then I noticed the Code 9 error.. It is the #1 Cyl Pos... any way to test this sensor???

are you running obd0 or obd1?

that sensor is in the distributor. More than likely it will need to be replaced. was the swap recently done?

Thanks for the reply, I did find the cause, a new wire was run from the O2 sensor to C2 on the wiring harness. No, this was done by the previous owner. Anyway, the car runs great now, no codes. Even though the O2 sensor is not hooked up, it does not through a code for it. I suspect that the PR3 ECU is chipped and the O2 sensor signal is ignored. I am running OBD0.
