code 9 help very confusing

hi guys im a total noob to this posting stuff so here i go.i have done a swap from a d16y8 to a b16a2 with the d wiring harness and obd1 to obd2 jumper harness and a p30 ecu about two months ago.so heres what i need help with.driving along the motorway car starts to splutter then cel comes on i pull in and check the code.it comes up as code 9 cyp.so i drive off and its spluttering and farting mad then the cel comes on and it runs fine no sluttering or farting :confused::confused:so wtf is wrong any suggestions:mad::mad::mad:
 
sounds like maybe the distributor (probably the igniter) is going out.

The CYP sensor is also located in the distributor.
