OK, Here's the Deal. Driving home from work my 2002 Honda Civic EX Coupe manual started to rev up and down every time I push the clutch or in neutral. keeps doing it. I get code Code P0505- idle control systems malfunction. I did an inspection. I found a hole in my injen intake down by the wheel well about the size of a quarter. I shortened the intake pipe and reattached it to the intake sealing it back up with no holes. It still does it. revs up and down? Do I need a new air control valve/sensor? I took it off and cleaned it but it was not even dirty. will a new one fix the problem? Or do I have bigger problems since there was a quarter size whole in the pipe for who knows how long, sucking in dirt and everything from the street from the wheel well, not to mention I just drove in heavy rains right before this started. Let me know! ideas!
