Codec question

Ok, here's my n00b question I could probably answer if I searched the interent, but...

I have a ton of MP3's but my CD player in my car doesn't play MP3, so what codec do I need to convert them to, to play them in a CD player?

Straight CDDA audio. You can use most MP3 players to convert to .wav files that can be burned out to regular audio CDs. Nero and Creator will also convert on the fly when you burn MP3s as audio CDs.

So I could use WMP to convert and burn it right? I just don't feel like installing more programs, if I have something that can do it already.

I don't know if WMP can do it- I've never tried. I'm pretty sure that it can though.

yes. WMP can convert and burn to CDDA.
