Taking away Colbalt Governor

I have a Colbalt LS and unlike the SS the governor cuts the engine off a 105 MPH.

Because of it being a different Liter I wouldnt... Thats asking for trouble. There may be an ez fix I just dont know Chevz.... Chip's available?!?

The easy and extremely cheap way, get a pinout diagram. Hook up a toggle switch to the VSS wire, then just turn it off when you get near 100. It may make the speedo stop working, thats why I recommend the switch instead of just unhooking it.

Otherwise, I bought a Greddy Speed Cut Controller for my Toyota that does the same thing without a toggle switch. I'm not sure if it works on other cars though, check out greddy.com for accurate info on that.
