Comp. for boost

    I was wondering if 10.2:1 compression in a d16z6 is too much to boost with about 10 psi for a daily driver. I havent got the pistons yet because I wanted to make sure if I could boost on it.

    below 9.5:1 is what most people here will tell you.

    You'll be fine as long as you tune it well. I'm considering running low boost in my 11.5:1 compression build later on, but not on pump gas.

    Thanks for the help. I think I will go with the 10.2. I wasn't for sure if I would be able to get away with it.

    10:2 is high for daily driven you'll need a conservative tune and won't have room to expand unless you run race gas 9:1 is perfect for daily driven on pump gas. and If you are investing money into pistons make sure you get something you can expand on because trust me after a while you'll want more power, and high boost high compression on pump gas don't mix

    :werd: as long as your boost pressures dont get too high 10:1 wont be a problem on 93.
