Computer Problems

for all those into computers; 1)everytime i get online a casinonav.com pops up and i dont know how to get rid of it. ive used norton's and lavasoft and it still pops up. 2) my SBC connection manager cant setup and its been like 2 weeks and it still cant setup. cant get through sbcs fucking automated shit to get to a tech.. 3)whenever i try to go to usbank.com i get redirected to a qcksrv.com something and it cant display the page.. but when i go on a search engine, type in usbank, and link from there it works..
i have firewalls and virus protections.. and i run them daily... can these problems be interconnected? can i even fix just one? thanks a lot guys.

try uninstalling proggies you didnt install. stuff like spyware in your add/remove progs. that makes a diff since some spyware doesnt execute in the registry.

I used a program called popup stopper before, worked pretty well for the most part. And yeah, do a manual search of your computer and see what doesn't need to be on there.

You can also CTRL-ALT-DEL once and see what processes are running. If you find out what is running you can search for it easier.

I hate pop ups and spam.

haha i just did that like 3 weeks ago.. i dotn wanna reformat and reinstall all the programs again.. its just those 3 little boogers thats fucking annoying me.

i have a program called ad aware 6 (it's a free dl) and it helps with the pop ups etc. i do that about once a week. also... make sure the link you use to get to usbank.com is correct. it might be something similar, but not what you type in, so it redirects you.

i agree... do another fresh install, dl ad aware...

Reinstall one more time and use Mozilla.


And stop clicking 'Yes' all those certificate popups.
