not sure about audio slave but chris cornell is the lead singer from sound garden
 
Audioslave is Rage Against the Machine minus Zach de La Rocha, who were originally from L.A.. When he left the band, They invited Chris Cornnel to jam with them, realized they were a great fit together and decided to call themselves Audislave.....

And in case anyone hasn't seen them, I waited at the Paradise two years ago in 20 below weather to see them jam in a 100 person venue, and to see Tom Morello play a guitar solo one handed while flashing a peace sign was amazing.......
 
going to see Primus on May 29th out in Cali. can't wait for that, but I would def. rock that show if I lived by you guys. have fun
