i do 62-64 in the day, and 55-58 at night and when i'm not home.

eat more ramen, or buy a sweater :)

fat = insulation.

lower heating costs ftw! :D

Well he took measurements of the three biggest problem windows and as I get the money I'm going to do them room by room since they don't do trip charges. He's going to get some prices by Monday when I go in to train them on their phones.

He gave me some prices on their garage doors as well.

Dual door 18x7:

R12 Door system; 1,245.96
R5 System; 1,078.48

Single door 9x7:

R12 system; 700.46
R5 system; 598.70

1/2 hp opener; 278.68 each. Each come with one remote, and extra remote is 25 bucks.

All prices are installed and include taxes.

The R5 has extra installation with the steel on the outside and a thermo type construction (think of an insulated coffee cup) on the inside. Decent insulation since the garage is insulated and will be even more insulated once I get around to reroofing and drywalling it. I'd like to redo the lights and electrical all at that time as well.

The R12 is two pieces of steel with polystirene foam injected inbetween the sheets. More insulating, more expensive.
