after a year of college level physics, and working on a shit load of honda's, I think that I would have no problems getting rid of the US system.

So how many inches are in a mile? Well in a kilometer there are 1000x1000 millimeters. Not too hard to do in your head.

Actually, Google has a built in calculator and converter. Type something like:
    Code:
    12 feet in meters
    or
    Code:
    half a cup in teaspoons
in the search bar and it will convert it for you.

    More info here and here.

Ha ha. Yea thats so ture. Fractions, weird numbers that add up to other things that really are not related. Simple sets of ten make the world SO much easier.

back a few years ago (10+ years) there was a program of the government was trying to switch us to the standard, however, people never really excepted it, so it never happened. Sometimes on road trips, you may see sings saying "New York City, xx miles, xxx Kilometers.

Do it all in your head... there's no need for online converters. It's easy.
