cool idea!

i just got a cool idea. you know how people disconnect the coolent hoses on the t/b so that the intake manifold wont get so hot. the down side is that it doesnt warm up to good. well, what if i put hooked the heater OUT hose to the t/b IN and hooked and loop the left over holes in the block? so that when i wanted to heat up the manifold i could just turn on the heater?? would this work??

Doesn't that hose actually help cool the IM?

nope- its to help keep the intake charge at a warmer level in cold weather so that it doesn't freeze and such. sounds odd, but thats what its there for.

as for your invention, i don't see at all how it will work.

just run the heater on full blast when youre racing (to cool the manifold)
