correct 74HC373 chip for p28

is this the correct 74HC373 chip for the p28 mod... It is an octal d-type latch, but the flip-flop part is confusing me... please take a second to check it out...

any DIP package (.300" spacing, if you have a choice) 74 HC373 or 74HCT373 will work fine.
If you plan on using a ZIF socket like the Aries (A347-ND @ digikey.com) then you might want to be a little more careful about which one you buy as they are not all exactly the same size, and the ZIF is a little bit of a tight squeeze.

That chip will work fine, but is rather overpriced. I pay 4/$1 locally.

Yup it is the right part for the p28 USDM/EDM not for the JDM
