96-00 EX=S40 B000 transmission

The older EX (92-95)with the d16z6 I belive has a s20 and aluminum short forks while the S40 from the 96-00 would have steel shift forks and from what I read and was told a slightly longer 5 th gear.

So thats why I am thinking about picking one up along with a stage 2 clutch.

Ah, gotcha. Sorry, guess I didn't read enough of the thread...
 
Havnt been around for awhile... zbut I am still working on the coupe right now the z6 I put in is getting pulled out and going into a 90 civic hatch, then a B16 will be going into the coupe haha.
