the beater website is a good read. ive always liked a good beater. theres something to be said for a vehicle that remains reliable and fun despite its age and overall shabbiness.

yeah the whole context of it is so much different than a car's original review. different price, issues, availability, etc. great stuff for a winter or 2nd car, or to tinker on. also i really prefer the late 80s, early 90s stuff.
