which rods, rod bearing, and main bearing does i use when rebuilding a B18A? It seams as though I have a rod knocking that sucks... so i need to rebuild the engine... does anyone have a set of b18a rods they dont need anymore?

befroe you start ordering all new parts, tear that block down and see if you spun a bearing. if you did check to see if it was a main bering or a rod bearing. if it was a main bearing, ditch the block, if it was a rod bearing, ditch the crank.

cant the crank be reground or whatever its called... it just knocks slightly though... but the timing belt is terribly loose could that cause a slight knock?

get a new timing belt, relash your vavles, and see if the knock goaes away.

but if the knock is really loud. i think its rod knock.
