hey guys my bro just picked up a 94 HB DX (auto) and he wanted to know if its possible to take a crx tranny (manual) and use it to convert the EG to stick(pedals, clutch master cylinder etc.) also use that tranny w/a b16......i told him no way...but im not really sure
The tranny wont work with the B16 or any other B-series motors.
But if its the stock motor in the hatch you can use the crx manual tranny. And I believe youll have to use hatch manual tranny mounts not sure on that one though and the pedals and MC will all work.
I woulnd't use any of the crx parts on the 94, if you were to do an auto to manual swap I would use the 92-95 pedals, clutch master cyl and lines, the crx used a cable system that isn't meant for your car.
