im pretty sure the people werent just driving with a loaded crossbow.
they may have just bought it, or were returning from/going hunting and had it.
drove down that road, car got hit by a rock. saw the little shit throwing them, so they looped around and loaded the crossbow.
then, took a shot like robin hood and gave the little fucker exactly what he deserved. i doubt any arrest would be made any time soon. if the kid was throwing rocks at cars, then chances are it was a secluded patch of road with no witnesses around, and hes probably smart enough to keep his fucking mouth shut about the car that did it.
if i were him, i would be terrified of somebody that could hit me with a crossbow from a moving vehicle.
