Anyone know of any good "stock" looking exhaust for a CRX?
Its for a turbo setup, i wanted to find an exhaust that would benefit my setup, has a deep non-raspy tone, and looked stockish.
Its on a Turbo'd SOHC setup.

Reason is because my custom 2-1/2" custom one is started to go out and i blew my crappy muffler off with antilag one day and it sounds like a dumptruck with a straight pipe, lol.

Ive been researching for over a month and havent come to a conclusion on what brand i wanted to get.

Anyone have any exhaust on their single cam or has a buddy that does that doesnt sound ricey, and flows well.

Maybe even have an exhaust you might wanna sell? :D (Calesta.. im talkin to you)

You can also get a resonating muffler and baffled muffler (similar to the high $$ one
AHHTEC showed you) at any muffler shop with 2.25"-3" exhaust piping. Depending on
when and if you get turbo.....you need to factor that in. Turbo kills the exhaust sound
(little) but if you run 3" and dont turbo...car will lose power and sound like super bees on
crack. I say 2.5" and if you are thinking under 4500 and quite.....good luck unless you try
the muffler shop route I spoke of.....or tanabe. Muffler shop will do it for less then $300
which should be cheaper then tanabe but it wont be stainless....is tanabe stainless?

I had GReddy exhaust on my hatch (sounded great) but it only lasted 6 yrs and less then
40K miles (thats the shocker). It cost me $580 and i dont think I'll do that again. I have the
muffler shop exhaust and it sounds good with the resonator and muffler together....with the
cat too. Keeps cops off my back and still opens up when I want it to.

You would run the main muffler side to side (like stock.....best layout IMO) and you can run a bigger muffler then the 14" or so they gave me in my EG hatch. The bigger muffler will help with quiting it all down too.

For stock look, I'd just get some custom piping made, and weld on the tip from a newer Civic Si. Youtube it, there's plenty of vids with older Hondas using the muffler tip from a new Si or a RSX and it sounds nice and looks great.

Just swapping the tip won't do anything for sound.

I'd say just get a custom exhaust setup with resonator of choice(largest you can get in there preferred), along with a muffler like the Dynomax Super Turbo which is baffled and chambered.

Pacesetter makes a really good one. It looks stock. I got one for my prelude. I have been very pleased with it. You should check them out. They arnt really popular in the import world but they make really good stuff at a reasonable price.

Already am, and have been for awhile. Just looking for a NEW exhaust to replace this POS i had made a year ago.

Well the main reason why i want it to look "stock" but still have the performance. My car looks about 95% OEM on the outside, and im trying to keep it that way, even the intercooler and piping are painted, so having a hunky exhuast ruins that idea, PLUS i think it looks sexier that way :p

Eh, doesnt sound that great honestly.

    Eh, maybe.

    K2e2vin: like this? Egay
