crx vs civic

    i was wondering whats the engine bay difference between a 88-91 crx and a 92 civic...(like size, major/minor diff, etc.)

    Are you asking what swaps into that car with least mods? Or actual dimensions?

    What models? You can't really compare the crx HF engine to the civic SI. Hell, there was even an SIR in Japan of both models. These would both have the b16a in them but diffrent OBD's.

    i think he's talkin like cubic inches kind of size, volume of the engine BAY. not actual engine size.

    the 5th gen engine bay is a little larger than the crx.

    yep, if you do a swap in a CRX or EF, you need to buy a mount kit where as with the 5th gen, you only need the mounts from the engine.

    Yip, motor sits much closer to the front of the bay in the EF/rex.
