I would like to know if a crx with a obd 0 b18a1 swap perform better with a gsr or b16a2 tranny. Im converting it to a hydro. Thanks for any opinions.
 
its gona be close to the same but the b16a will have shorter gears,,.good for drag racing..
 
Are you doing the full conversion with the pedal assem., master cyl, etc?
or with Hasports conversion?

Why not just buy a cable B16 trans, so you don't have to buy extra stuff??
 
A good mechanic of mine at RT Performance is doing the whole hydro conversion (including the gsr or b16 transmission) for $750. That's why i might as well go hydro since it is pretty hard to find cable trannies and the price would be around the same for getting a cable tranny and the installation for it.
