Ctr vs Gsr

Need to decide which one??

Going into a 93 Cx for mostly drag though I want to start Auto xing.

Can get Ctr for $3200
Get Gsr for around $2500

Which do you guys think is the better choice or just get a Cbr 600F3.

CTR if you have that kind of money.

Go for the GSR, more displacement, torque. Better for Drag and autox. AND you'll save yourself $700

More displacement = good

ITR if you can afford it.

Go CTR... Better cams, revs better, better intake manifold, throttle body, LSD diff, more HP stock vs. stock, stronger internals.

if you can GSR bottom, CTR complete head, CTR/ITR tranny.

I would go with the hmm,,, this is a toughy.


CTR is better in gearing, more aggressive oem cam profile, intake manny

GSR is better for displacement



Why not just get a ITR motor and settle this.

thats a good price on a gsr ,get the gsr and spend the $700 on a intake manifold+

if you plan to not really do any more mods to your motor other than i/h/e then i would go with the ctr. your looking at about the same power but a much more exciting set up with the ctr. you can always get some wild cams for it down the road if you choose too.
