Although, I do not like those cup holders because they're still shallow(large drinks will still spill).

If you can fit an extra DIN in the dash(I don't know which models have it), but these would probably work better:

thanks for the pics. i looked at a 96 teg th other day, they do look shalow and kinda weak, but way better then nothing. the din ones look like they would work better but i dont think i want to loose my radio (would rather just tell my girl to hold my drink) lol unless i can figure out how to add another slot... thanks again

Walmart sells cup holders that attach to the ebrake handle. Might try that. Worked in my dad's volvo.

This sounds like it could end terribly for a back seat passenger in the event of brake failure after a coffee stop.

The Honda cup holder, shoving it between the seat and ebrake like mentioned above. I never really lost many drinks.

I like the linked DIY better than any of the other options. The DC console is made for small drinks. Like 12 oz can small. 20 oz bottles don't even fit. Big coffee cups don't fit. Unless you already have the console laying around, I'd pursue other options.
