where are some links to learn how to removed the clear coat and spray on your own color. i wanna re-do my rims a charcole color and all i know so far is spray on airplane thinner to remove clearcoat/finish and then spray on my color, let sit for a bit, and then clear coat it. any pointers?

carefull with that aircraft stripper. it'll pull of more then the clear coat if your now WAY careful.

it has to be sanded(or whatever you do to metals) before you can paint them i think.

my cousin sanded his wheels down and painted them with those automotive spray paints.
