So my brother spun a bearing in his stock 98 Civic DX. We are planning to swap this thing sometime this summer but we need to get it running for just a few months before hand. I have an old jdm CR-X Xi D15b sitting in my shop. I shouldn't have any problem using the short block with the y7 head? I know it will be missing the knock sensor. Is there any reason this wouldn't work? I don't care about its emissions or CELs as long as it runs.
