can I put a d15b head on a d16z6 block? I'm thinking it would work, have clearance concerns. What about power increase from increased compression? Has anyone tried this?

As for swapping the head, yes you can do it. You're not going to gain any compression because the Z6 and JDM B heads are the same. The camshaft is different, but that's it. In terms of power gain, you're not going to get much- just go for an aftermarket camshaft. There's no need to swap the head.
 
Already decided on 59100 before head developed problem, thanx for answering my other? You'v been more help than u know.
