D15B vtec e questions

OK I have 99 Ex civic with a blown y8. What i want to do is get the d15b vtec e change the head to a y8, and use the OBD2 harness with a OBD2 To OBD1 ecu adapter.Also will the jdm axle shafts work with my usdm car. will the block accept the usdm y8 head it might make compression rise, I was also wondering if the block will accept the harness if I cahnge all sensors

My orginal engine was automatic.

My head is great..

Its a JDM D15B block with a JDM D15B Vtec E head
