so i got the d15b vtec motor for my 95 hatchback. I had a p06 ecu which i got someone to chip it to a p28 for the vtec. i also have the wiring from the vtec solenoid and oil pressure switch to the ecu everything seems to be okay but check engine light wont go off and vtec dont work. i am using my stock harness from a nonvtec d15 but as i said a chiped p28. can anyone tell me what i am missing heree>??? . help me out please

i also have a vx ecu which is for p07 and p28 but only with 5wire o2 sensor.i tried it and it dont work either. i cant rev higher than around 5. it wont let me.
is there any other way to check for problems or a real p28 is the only way to go/?

The Real P28 Ecu Rev Limit Is 7200 Rpm

Cx - 5500 Rpm
Dx/vx - 6500 Rpm
Si - 7200 Rpm

I Suggested A Real P28 Because I Think The Chipped One You Have

May Be Running As A Cx - 5500 Rpm

Let Me Know "d"

i have the same problems! check your cel and see what code it throws! if you're using the stock non vtec harness than you have to add a few wires! try using a real p28 too!
