Alright, let me just start off by saying that I am completely new to Hondas and their motors. I have only ever worked on small block chevys. That being said, let me explain the situation.

I have recently been looking for a cheap car that is good on mileage. While searching around a bit, I found a decent looking 1990 civic std. I have done a bit of research on this car and its motor, but as any guy will/should tell you, that 70 HP just isn't enough and I would really be planning on rebuilding the motor anyways. Right off the bat, I know mpfi should be one of the first things that I do, but is it too unrealistic to want to get 150-175 HP out of this motor on a budget? And if not, what would I need? I've got a bit to learn, but I'm not unwilling and would appreciate any help!
