well even with a push button I believe you still have to have a key to turn on the 12v source. and most of the time cars (besides new ones) that have push button are more easily stolen. and I don't think that you would have to buy a new steering column just a new ignition, they aren't that much

word you can get a new tumbler(the key thing) for fairly cheap..i had to do one on my rex it was 3 bolts..
i think its a good deal..depending on the rust..but id clean that interior up before anything..

ok guys, havent been around so i thought i would update you all. had a really bad week. I went to the hospital 3 times (2 for mrsa and one for slicing my finger open to the bone in which i sat in the hospital for 4 hours only for them to glue it together), my 240sx drift car project was totalled by a tree falling on it and guess what? no insurance because it isnt street legal. I lost hours at work because district is dumber than kanye mixed with alcohol. But then I got this wierd deal yesterday morning. My buddy with the 91 hatch called and said he needs it gone. so, 200.oo later i bought it back. I have the complete mpfi conversion with it, ls mirrors, dash, and seats, new tierod ends included, bought bumpers, bumper trim, and side molding trim for 70.oo and got a mini me swap for my d15b7 (just need a vtec solenoid and subharness) for 125.oo and got a guy interested in trading his crx si with d16a6 swap for it. question I have, is should i keep my hatch and build it (going LS or possibly g23 if my budget allows) or trade for the crx. I just want to hear some swap views for this now. Be it a swap for the hatch or for the crx. Any opinion is a good one. thanks in advance guys.

def. get the crx..im pretty sure its a little lighter..
and its already an si so itsm uch easier to swap..
your from ct so i might know whos car it is

actually i am from ohio. and i decided as soon as i get the chance i am trading the car for a crx. the guy i bought the hatch off the first time had a crx and stop beside me and my fiancee today then took off on only 10lbs of boost so now my fiancee wnats me to build one to spank him. shouldnt be a problem, haha. so honestly what do you think as far as values. should i do a straight trade for a crx with what i have or what?

my car has not one drop of rust, mpfi converted d15b7 swapped with a d16a6 tranny, ls mirrors, ls seats and simple cold air intake. all together have 300.oo in it. what is something like this worth with not a single drop of rust?

it all depends on the area. because around here it would probably go any where from 1200-1800 maybe more but it all depends on who's selling it if you know them if they need money, just a few a bunch of things, but thats about the average for around here

i think 1200.oo is all i may ask for it or trade straight up for a crx si with maybe something minor done. forgot my ef is on neuspeed coilovers which i know are cheap but just saying.

neuspeed isnt cheap lol..and im asking 1200 for mine..with rust, dents, dings, and alot of faded/chipping clear coat..mine has a minime in it..with a completely rebuilt head

if its in better condition than mine..then go for more..i know ive seen all stock clean cars go for 1500

Some kid just offered me 1500.00 for it. I think Iay have a new crx in the near future. Haha. Hopefully his automatic crx sells tomorrow and I get some cash. I'll keep everyone posted. Oh, just bought a f22 longblock for 80.00 for my g22 swap I'm doing.

ok, well, im having a problem getting my hatch to fire up now. long story short, i bought the car for 200.oo and then found out the kid was ripping me off by stealing the car when i wasnt out to his brother's place to get it. i took a police escort and finally got it back but something is messed up. I have everything plugged in but he cut part of the wiring harness to wire up a toggle switch for lights and another for the fan and the fuel pump. charged the battery and turned the key over, but all there was was a click sound. not a continuous click just one click then done. what could be the issue? could something be unplugged or is something having a short circuit?
