d15z1 help

im just bought a 92 vx and i was wondering if it was even worth working on the stock d15z1 or ditch it for possibly a z6. i have heard some good things about the d15z1 but finding parts to fit it is seeming to be a little complicated. and one final question, will intakes, headers, bolt-on turbo kits and stuff that say they fit the other eg trim levels work on the d15z1 or not?

most of the parts off of a z6 will fit on the d15 thats whats in my car now and that engine is alot better than the non vtec,yes the bolt ons should bolt on
