d16 boost

any ever heard of this......i have a d16 with greddy turbo (99 ex). its been together wih the turbo for like 4 months now and for the second time on the highway around 12 psi at 120mph wide open the motor just shuts off.... and after coasting for about 500-1000 feet it will fire back on......no smoke and it shuts off and comes back on very smoothly.
anyone ever heard of this?

I don't know why it is shutting off, but at 12psi on that 15G turbo your ecu is going into open loop mode. You need a GM 3bar MAP sensor. Your ECU might be freaking out and shutting everything down. get that 3bar MAP sensor and see if it fixes it. You will need one anyways running that high of a boost.

on my old motor it shut down at 120 mph too...its the speed limiter


solution- get a eeprom and burner and i will hook u up with a rom editor
