d16 removal

    ok taking out my d16 eninge and i want to put in the b16 but here is the deal where are the good points to take out the d16 i mean by where do i put the hooks on the d16 i would like to know so i can take out the engine thanks guys

    Get a helms, it the same place on the D-series and b-series.

    With a bolt, find the open threaded hole on the back of the head, and secure it there (I believe that you can use a bolt from one of the bracket on the front of the engine, on the oppisite side of that hole). On the tranny side, right next to the clutch slave cylinder, there is a brass looking bracket, put the chain there.

    dam i just found that i have one of those Helms from ebay that is on a CD
