HI there

Im thinking of swapping myD16y6 1.6 SOHC VTEC engine with a B16b DOHC VTEC.

i need to know will my existing ecu work with the new engine?, since the stock engine was a VTEC, so the pinouts for the ECU shouldn't be a problem and can I use the stock wiring?


Also, will the engine moutns be a problem? how much alteration is required? I own 97 civic VTI (Asian spec).

i believe the ecu won't work
the stock harness should work, tho, you might have to wire the knock sensor (dont know if the d16 has a knock sensor)

the mounts, i'm not sure
