d16 vtec head needed

i just got into the civic game a few weeks ago with a super clean yet super slow cx base model hatch. i slammed it on skunk2 sleeve-overs, got gsr seats and rims. last week bought ebay sourced turbo kit for $690 shipped-universal for d series.....it made the car waaaaaaaaaaay faster, but my buddy claims i can also convert to a vtec head. is this fact or fiction? anyone have a vtec head 4 sale?
can i use my stock d15 dist?

ALSO-- will d16 intake man. and throttle body fit on my d15--they're way bigger
