D16A1 to 88 DA?

One of my friends is kind of stuck in a rut.

The old engine was swapped in place of a brown-top D16A1. I noticed that there is a vacuum distributor on this thing, but when it came from the freight company, it was broken so now I need to get another. Does anybody know which car in the US came with the same distributor so that I can cross-reference it to? A part # would work, too.

Also, is he going to have any problems with the ECU? Thanks.

the 86- 87 integra was vaccume advanced

and not only are you gonna need the dizzy you will need the ecu

and i have the ecu if you need it

only the 86-87 D16A1 distributor will bolt onto the 86-87 D16A1 head - 88-89 will not fit - not even close - you can make the 88-89 fit with using only one bolt if you replace the #6 intake camshaft cap with one from 88-89
