Ok I've searched all over these forums, over 40 pages worth and cant find any info on what I need to know. I'm working on a 97 Civic originally had the D16Y7 motor but the bottom end seized up (go figure right?) and we are swaping a D16A6 block with a JDM D15B head. I really need to know what all parts are required to peice this head to this block and also what is required for this motor to run right in this car? Wiring, timing belt, head studs, head gasket, ecu, etc... He recently bought a Crower stage 2 cam for the Y8 head because we planned to use the Y8 head but would rather have the higher compression with the D15B head. Will the Y8 cam still work the D15B head?? We also have the Z6 intake manifold, Z6 exhaust manifold, Y8 Cometic head gasket, and ARP head studs for the Y8. If anyone could post a list of parts needed it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for all your help.
