girlfriend blew her head gasket on her civic pulled the head and the freaking thing was pitted to hell.
i had a a6 head laying around so i figured screw it should be the same casting better cam shaft/IM why wouldnt i be able to use it.
came here searched the archives to see what i would need to do the mini me swap.
from my understanding i can use the b7 timing belt all i should need is an adjustable cam pulley or a pulley off of a 96+ d16y7/y8
So i went to honda picked up a y7 cam pulley for like 14$ no biggie.
but when i get home i start comparing the two pulleys...
there like exactly the same.same amount of teeth same width/height anyone have any ideas?
maybe honda gave me the wrong pulley?
could someone post a pic of a y8/y7 pulley so i can compare what i have to it?
any heal would be great thanks in advance.^_^
