Well I just bought a turbo kit for a good deal for a d16. I have a 00 civic HX. I just bought a new d16y8 and p2p ecu for 375(is that a good deal) no tranny though, i was gonna use my hx tranny for the d16y8. The question I have for you guys is what else will I need. Will I need a new wiring harness? Will a d16y5 TB fit a d16y8 intake manny? Any input would be nice. Let me know.
 
your wiring harness should be just fine because both engines are vtec (yours is just vtec-e) I would think the TB would fit just fine but that isn't a garauntee

good luck with the swap and the turbo project... are you going to build up the motor first or just slap the turbo on it as is?
 
I'm going to wyotech, so what i'm planning on doing is slap the motor in turbo it and build up internals later on when i go to wyotech in april
