What would be a good cam to go with a d16 wich will soon be turboed?

Why are you getting a cam for the y7 when you are turboing it?

Just spend the dough on a good turbo and crank the boost.

is the bottom end built because i know that you can boost a good bit if you have a nicely built bottom end without the cam

Even without the built bottom end you can boost to about 200ish whp on a stock D16.

the bottom end was rebuilt back to stock about 35k ago. the head i found out already has a cam that im not sure of. but how many lbs would i be able to push vary safly with a block guard.... i dont want to blow anything up

Pressure all depends on the tune and the turbo choice. A few people have gone as high as 400whp on the stock block casting without guards or new sleeves. That's not typical though.

DSM t-25 with block guard. how much would be 100% safe yet some what quick.

and when im looking at turbos and it says operating psi what dose that me... for example... t3t4 said 25- 40 psi.
